Best Place to Stay in Aruba in 2025: Ranked by Location and Type
Looking for the best place to stay in Aruba? This guide highlights the top three accommodations in different categories based on location and type, making it easy for you to find the perfect hotel for your trip!
Aruba has an impressive variety of accommodations to suit every type of traveler. Whether you prefer beachfront luxury, all-inclusive resorts, or charming budget-friendly options, you’ll find it in Aruba.
Most hotels are found on the island’s northwest side, close to Oranjestad and Noord. This area is convenient for travelers, with cruise ships docking nearby and the airport just a short drive away. The accommodation options are divided into two areas — a high-rise area (Palm Beach) and a low-rise area (Eagle Beach).
We’ve explored the island extensively, and have stayed in various areas, including Palm Beach, Eagle Beach, Noord, and Savaneta. Because the island is small and easy to get around, we’ve never felt out of touch or too far away, even when choosing a place away from the beach. We can say from experience that you really can’t go wrong with any type of accommodation in Aruba!

How to Get Around Aruba
One of our favorite tips for visiting Aruba is to rent a car! Unlike some countries, Aruba is super easy to drive in. Aside from a couple of large roundabouts, the roads are straightforward to navigate. The signage is clear, and the speed limits are low.
When you rent your car, your rental company will give you a map of the island that includes basic street signs and their meanings. Speed limits are posted in kilometers, but your car’s speedometer will match. Arubans also drive on the right side of the road, just like the in the U.S.
But if driving yourself just isn’t your thing, Aruba does have plenty of other options. You can choose from a wide variety of different transportation options to get you from the airport to your hotel, and from there, you can use taxi services or the public bus to get around the island. Most Island Tours also offer hotel pick-up and drop-off!
Best Time to Visit Aruba
Aruba is unique to the Caribbean because it sits outside of the hurricane belt and stays at a comfortable 80-something degrees year-round! The island is also known for its strong trade winds, which make the weather feel even more pleasant. This makes it the perfect place to visit any time of the year.
Aruba doesn’t have an official rainy season, but rain chances do increase from late October to early January. The rain showers are typically hard downpours that end quickly, and they usually only happen overnight.
Aruba’s high season is from December to April when many visitors are trying to escape from the cold. Hotel prices are typically higher during these months. You’re more likely to find lower rates during the low season from May to November.
